Harry West, an inventor and adventurer, develops a device capable of cutting through armour plate. After the invention is stolen and used in a spectacular bank robbery, West becomes involved in a pursuit of the criminal gang that leads to St. Moritz.
The film passed censorship on March 31st 1931 and was premiered in April 1931. Location shooting took place in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Several filmographical sources credit Max Ehrlich as the Conférencier. The current Filmportal cast listing, however, does not include him. His participation should therefore be regarded as well supported but not yet confirmed from an original programme in the Max Ehrlich archive.
