Wer zahlt heute noch? is a 1932 German sound short produced by Universum-Film AG (UFA), Berlin, and directed by Heinz Hille. The screenplay was written by Emeric Pressburger and based on a sketch by Stefan Zagon.

Max Ehrlich appears as Trotzkopf. Filmportal lists Hermann Vallentin as the boss, Henry Lorenzen as the cashier, Hedi Heissling as the secretary and Eugen Boral as the cash messenger.

Filmportal records the original version as 681 metres / 25 minutes, black-and-white, 35mm in the 1:1.33 format, with Tobis-Klangfilm sound. The film passed German censorship on 28 July 1932 (B.31877, approved for young people) and premiered in Germany on 23 August 1932.

A contemporary Hamburg newspaper advertisement from 12 September 1932 shows that the short was being screened at the Hammerbrook and Uhlenhorst cinemas as part of the supporting programme accompanying Das Lied einer Nacht. The advertisement announces: “Wer zahlt heute noch; Sketch mit Max Ehrlich”.
